Tramp Harbor Moon (White)

Tramp Harbor White is a wine that was waiting for a name. The wine is a blend of 75% Madeleine Angevine from Lopez Island and 25% Chasselas from Vashon Island. The wine was already bottled and waiting to be named. Mark Wells and Lawson Cannon were musicians playing at the winery when Mark played a song called, Tramp Harbor Moon. I said, “That's it, that will be the name of the wine. It is 100% Puget Sound derived and shows great fruitiness but in a restrained and kind of medium weight reminiscent of European wines, especially those from the Loire Valley. Serve with local seafood: clams, mussels, crab, salmon, white fish.
